The 7-4 Buffalo Bills travel to Pittsburgh to take on the 6-5 Steelers.

The Bills are coming off another ugly and frustrating loss against the Houston Texans on Thursday night. Buffalo is struggling mightily to play complimentary football, win the turnover battle and stop the run on defense.

In order for the Bills to walk out of Pittsburgh with a win they first and foremost need to win the turnover battle. It’s something that Buffalo has struggled with in 2025 and its cost them multiple “easy” wins this year. Against a fiery Steelers D, they’ll need to protect the ball all game long. This means Josh Allen will need to make smart decisions, limit contested throws and take what the defense gives him. Skill players need to hold onto the football, secure catches and absolutely cannot fumble. Both fumbles and INTs have plagued the Bills in 2025, and they absolutely must clean this up against an aggressive Steelers unit.

The Steelers defense is known for its game wrecking ability and DE TJ Watt will be a player looking to wreak havoc on the Bills offensive attack. It’s a game that feels eerily similar to the Texans clash, one that will be won by protecting the football and not allowing the Steelers D to take over.

Defensively, the Bills need to stop the Steelers rushing attack. The Bills D is one of the worst at stopping the run in the NFL. In order for them to win today, they’ll have to bottle up Jaylen Warren and the Steelers backfield while limiting big runs. The Bills also have to stop Aaron Rodgers who is healthy again in week 13 and an aging NFL legend. He’s not a guy to be taken lightly and the Bills D line needs to put pressure on him in the pocket.

It’s truly repetitive and been the same story for Buffalo all year long. They need to stop the run, they need to limit turnovers and they need to play as a team. Buffalo needs their offense, defense and special teams to build off the success of each other rather than simply try and pick the other unit up when issues arise.

When healthy, organized and playing as a team, the Buffalo Bills can beat any team in the NFL. It’s only a question what version of the Buffalo Bills show up on Sunday.

The Bills have been down this road many times in the Sean McDermott era and many times they have found ways to salvage their season and ride into the playoffs on a high note. I do expect the same this time around and am cautiously optimistic that Buffalo will find a way to win on Sunday.

My prediction for this one is Bills 30-24.
